FunNotFame Productions
This project is currently in progress. FunNotFame is an independent publisher and distributor of skateboarding-based printed matter and the purpose of the site is fourfold: 1) promote and sell books worldwide; 2) process new account applications from bookstores and novelty shops; 3) advertise and support the team, and 4) preserve the integrity of the subculture for its fans. To accomplish these goals, we use a few basic forms and rely on a clean, intuitive approach. The project enhanced my skillset by challenging me to learn more database functions and SQL statements. I work alongside a back-end tech in Portland, and this project represents the first time I've collaborated with another programmer. The experience has already taught me much. view

Personal Portfolio
The site you are currently browsing was the result of a 48-hour cram session. It's a bare bones PHP site with some basic JavaScript and a single style sheet, containing roughly three-dozen pages and hosting various samples of writing, design and programming work. The goal was to build something clean, uncluttered and user-friendly for producers, editors and agents to peruse. Los Angeles based artist Dale Dreiling is responsible for all of the artwork on this site.

2006 ALCS Scorecards
Although coded two years ago and not exactly an example of lean, refactored code, I enjoyed this project and put much heart and soul into it. One of our assignments in HTML/XHTML class was - of course - a table-based layout (yuk). It was October, I'm a baseball fan, and I'd just completed a fairly thorough write-up of the Detroit Tigers / Oakland Athletics 2006 ALCS. I decided to create some scorecards for the games, and these pages were the result. If I were to redo it today, I'd eliminate tables altogether, incorporate CSS and improve the header image quality. view
